Global Engineering Collaboration

Mindsheet has entered a global strategic collaboration with Gadgeon Smart Systems, an engineering-led technology company with over 1,000 engineers and deep capability across product engineering, embedded systems, digital transformation and manufacturing.

The collaboration is designed to close the gap between business strategy and execution — combining Mindsheet’s executive-led transformation leadership with Gadgeon’s ability to design, build, test and manufacture at scale.

“Mindsheet brings exceptional executive transformation leadership, and we bring deep engineering and digital capability. By combining our strengths, we can offer clients a seamless, scalable approach to enterprise transformation — from strategic design through to technology realisation. We see this as a long-term collaboration built on shared ambition and mutual trust.”

Access to Deep Engineering and Manufacturing Capability

Through Gadgeon, Mindsheet can draw on a broad engineering capability that spans hardware design, firmware, embedded Linux, AI, ERP, IoT, automated test infrastructure and full production management.

Gadgeon operates a 12,000 sq ft final assembly facility within a Special Economic Zone, enabling cost-effective, duty-free manufacturing with global fulfilment. Their capabilities carry ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100D and IPC Class 3 accreditations and are ITAR registered — making them relevant across defence, aerospace, medical devices and advanced industrial programmes.

These engineers are not supplied as individuals. They operate as part of Mindsheet’s transformation delivery model, contributing capability where it is needed while maintaining clear accountability for outcomes.

How the Collaboration Works in Practice

Mindsheet defines the transformation strategy, programme architecture and operating model. Where engineering or manufacturing capability is required to deliver on that strategy, Gadgeon’s teams are integrated directly into the programme.

This allows clients to move from executive intent to engineered reality without the friction of managing multiple suppliers or navigating the gap between consultancy and delivery.

Build, Operate, Transfer

For clients that need to establish or scale an engineering or manufacturing capability, the collaboration supports a structured Build, Operate, Transfer model.

Gadgeon designs and builds the initial engineering samples or production capability. Mindsheet ensures this is aligned to the client’s operating model and strategic intent. As the programme matures, capability is transferred back to the client — with the processes, tooling and governance required to run it independently.

This approach is particularly relevant for organisations looking to accelerate product development, modernise their manufacturing operations, or establish new technology capabilities without permanent overhead.

Supporting Complex and High-Consequence Programmes

The combined capability is relevant for transformation programmes across defence, aerospace, medical devices, industrial automation and connected product development — environments where senior judgement, engineering rigour and disciplined execution are equally essential.

A Different Model of Transformation Delivery

Most approaches treat strategy and engineering as separate disciplines. This collaboration integrates both from the outset — improving speed, alignment and the confidence with which clients can move from vision to value.

Mindsheet remains responsible for outcomes. Gadgeon’s engineering depth strengthens our ability to deliver them.
